The Petschek Palace
It has been used by the Nazis as a Gestapo Headquarters where people were tortured to death. During the liberation the Soviet Army used the same premises for torturing the White Russian emigrants.
From Nazis to Communists
After the Nazi annexation of our sudetenland area with great help of England and France the Czech society was highly paralyzed. As the Western Allies did literally nothing against the annexation the foke was extremly dissapointed. THis is one of the reasons why a recognisable number of citizens was mentally opened to welcome the Soviet influence. Of course nobody expected that after the Nazi horror the country will go through a new horror called Stalinism.
Work liberates
