Marta

I wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with Wittman Tours during our recent visit to Prague. It was very hot and crowded when we were there, but Susanna (?) was absolutely delightful and very knowledgeable about the Jewish Quarter synagogues. We really came away with a good understanding of the history.

We also were very moved by our trip to Terezin with Martina.  She was terrific and added a realistic perspective to the knowledge we have of the Holocaust.

We will highly recommend Wittman Tours to anyone we know going to Prague.

Dear Marta,

We had a very positive experience with Vida our tour guide in Prague. She is lovely, as you know. Aside from being very personable she was very professional and quite informative. All around we thoroughly enjoyed our tour very much.

I would also like to thank you for your recommendation for a Jewish Heritage tour in Budapest. Eva provided us with a wonderful guide and that too was a very worthwhile experience.

We were today with Barbara on a tour to Terezienshtadt . We would like to point out that we had an AMAZING tour , Barbara was very knowledgeable , extremely nice and she seemed as if she really LOVES what she doing, she took it personally, combined stories of her own family ...it was a very educational tour and Barbara really made it happen .

Thank you also to Paul, who was also a nice addition to the tour.

I just wanted to say how much we and our friends really enjoyed the Prague Jewish Tour with Barbara. She was excellent-very knowledgeable and animated. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
We learned allot and felt like we were transported back in time. It was a great history lesson albeit not the best story.

My husband and I took the Jewish Quarter tour with you today and we just wanted to thank you for a really wonderful experience. Your deep knowledge and humor made for a great tour. We have done walking tours in several other cities and yours was one of the best. We also appreciated the reasonable pace of the tour. We were on a tour of the Jewish Quarterin Krakow a week or so ago on a very warm day and found it difficult to keep up with the group.
We will definitely recommend your tour to friends and family visiting Prague.

Today we had the opportunity to go on a tour of Terezin with Martina Stolbova.

Martina is a remarkable guide. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her subject. We and our children were spell bound by Martina's guidance and descriptions. We did not stop for lunch but our children did not mention food once as they were so enthralled with the topic. We have traveled in many countries and have had many guides - Martina stands out as a superb guide.

Martina is a credit to your company. Please thank her on our behalf. We will strongly recommend Martina to our friends and family that are fortunate enough to visit Prague.

Dear Marta,
 
Now that my mom and I are safely home and settled back in the U.S., I wanted to take a moment to thank you for arranging our wonderful tour of the Jewish quarter on Thursday, March 17 with Martina.  ....  We couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, sensitive, and thoughtful tour guide than her.  I believe she ended up giving us nearly 3.5 hours of touring!  It's amazing how much we were able to see and learn, and many of the sites were quite moving, such as the Holocaust memorials.  She was happy to answer thoroughly all of our questions during the tour, and she even gave us some great advice on finding a good bakery and garnet store after we were finished.  

Again, thanks so much to you and Martina for helping to make our visit to Prague so memorable.  We will definitely recommend Wittmann Tours to any of our friends who consider travelling to Prague.

Dear Ms. Emyei,

I just wanted to write and tell you how much we enjoyed our tours of Prague and Terezin. Our first guide Martina, on Saturday, showed us Golden Prague.  We had just arrived that morning, but my husband and I felt no jet lag when we were with Martina.  She was a terrific guide, and gave us a fascinating tour, combing Prague history, with Czech history and architecture. Martina displayed a thorough knowledge of history and answered all of our questions.  She was a pleasure to be with.  Later that afternoon we showed our daughter, (who spent the afternoon sleeping off jet lag), the Charles Bridge and Town Square, sharing our new found knowledge with her.

On Sunday, the three of us went to Terezin with our second guide named Martina.  Another fascinating day, in spite of the very tragic subject.  Martina handled all our questions with detailed knowledge.  It is clear Martina is an expert on Terezin, World War II, and the Czech Republic in general.  She was also a pleasure to spend the day with.

On Monday, we toured the Jewish quarter with Vida.  What a fascinating personal history she has!  Vida, as our first two guides, was a pleasure to be with.  Her knowledge of the Jewish quarter is extensive, as is her knowledge of Prague and Czech history in general. Jewish History in the Czech Republic is extremely interesting, and Vida explained it thoroughly to use.  Another wonderful day.

Just a note to say I had a fantastic time with Martinya going to Terezin. She prepared me well for Auschwitz and we got on very well.
 
The trip to Europe was very enlightening for me but one of the highlights was the visit to Eliska. Thank you for making it so relaxed and special.
