The Czech Jewish Liberal & Reconstructionist Kehilah
Founded by Sylvie Wittmann and Rabbi Joan Friedman in 1991, it is the first Czech Jewish Liberal Kehilah established in the Czech Republic after the Velvet Revolution. As a member of the European Board of WUPJ, Bejt Simcha organizes lectors from abroad as well as from the Czech Republic, seminars, educational excursions, Hebrew and Ivrit lessons, Summer and Winter school for children and adults.

The celebrations of all the Jewish holidays are open to the public. Bejt Simcha library and lectures serve for Jewish and non-Jewish students as well.

Bejt Simcha meets regularly for Kabbalat Shabbat, using its own Siddur in Hebrew, Czech and English, at 6:00 p.m., Maiselova 4, 110 00 Prague 1
